William Eugene Smith

W. eugene smith was born in Wichita , Kanses on december 20, 1918 , and died on october 15, 1978 in Tucson Arizona. at the age of 15 smith was drown to photography and work on assignment for wichita eagle and the wichita beacon in his school. he went to college and earned a scholarship to NOTRE DAME UNIVERSITY IN INDIANA.ONE YEAR OF HIS SCHOLARSHIP HE MOVED TO NEW YORK , WHERE HE GOT THE JOB AT NEWSWEEK . HE JOINED BLACK STAR AGENCY WHERE HE WROKED AS A FREELANCER PHOTOGRAPHER  FOR MAGAZINES INCLUDING LIFE , COLLIER  AND HAPER 'S BAZER .SMIT WATNED HIS PHOTO TO BEE SEEN BY WIDE AUDIENCE HE JOIND LIFE MAGAZINE  THERE HE TOOK HIS PICTURE TO THE AUDIENCE BY TAKING PICTURES OF THE FIGHT OR WAR GOING ON.THERE HE GOT INJURED AND TOOK 2 YEARS TO RECOVER . after those 2 years he wanted to make a comeback he wanted his next image to be significant the result was his two children walking throughout the woods and called it walk in paradise garden   .      
and later creating more and more master pieces for example
country doctor  , nurses midwife
and the man of murcy










after moving to japan to document the plight of people who had suffered from industrial poisoning they moved to Tucson arizona and lived in arizona until his lasted  days he was a fantastic man and helped a lot of people by teaching them and guiding them on the right track.
