self portraits and portraits

tip one

The problem that I saw when I looked through my viewfinder was that I didn't have anything to focus on aside from the items in the far distance. This of course would make for a perfectly blurry photo of me, which isn't at all what I wanted.
tip 2
Environment, sometimes environment can inspire the image. For instance one night of January was extremely foggy.
tip 3
Two items make a photo, the subject and backdrop, and I think that they are equally important. This is where your lens choice comes into play. A long lens allows you to send the back ground out of focus and narrow down the amount of background in the photo. A wide lens keeps the background in focus and allows it to be a key part of the image. Either way the background is playing a big factor by being a key element or by not distracting from the subject.

the beauty of nature remind me of how i use to do the same thing in my hometown

reminds me of how that not everything in the world is not bad

iso 200

iso 3200

1 it stops the motion and the sensitivity is really active and you can capture the moment when ever you want to

2 the wanted to get the caption good not make it blurry because its not in motion and doesn't want much light on this photo

3 wanted to get a better glimpse or get close and get more light on the dark objects

Alfred Eisenstaedt's photograph of an American sailor kissing a woman in Times Square became a symbol of the excitement and joy at the end of World War II. The Life photographer didn't get their names, and several people have claimed to be the kissers over the years. A book released last year identifies the pair as George Mendonsa and Greta Zimmer Friedman. During the Vietnam War, Eddie Adams photographed Gen. Nguyen Ngoc Loan, a South Vietnamese police chief, killing Viet Cong suspect Nguyen Van Lem on a Saigon street during the early stages of the Tet Offensive in 1968. Adams later regretted the impact of the Pulitzer Prize-winning image, apologizing to Gen. Nguyen and his family for the damage it did to the general's reputation. "I'm not saying what he did was right," Adams wrote in Time magazine, "but you have to put yourself in his position."

Robert Capa, co-founder of the Magnum Photos cooperative, became known for his 1936 photograph said to depict the death of a solider during the Spanish Civil War. Since the 1970s, doubt has been cast on the authenticity of the image. Many people suggest that it was staged. The International Center of Photography in New York and Magnum, among others, have defended the image. Either way, "The Falling Soldier" remains one of history's most famous war photographs.

Alfred jones is fallen to his death as he was running through the open fields of the battle of amarillo on June 19, 1887 in the open field of new Mexico close to the capital of new Mexico , as this mission was to infatuate the enemy lines for details about the was zone . the shot hit him in the heart instantly killing him in the open fields

Aspiring photojournalist Charles Porter was working near the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995 when "there was just a huge, huge explosion." He rushed to the scene and saw firefighter Chris Fields emerge from the rubble holding a dying infant, 1-year-old Baylee Almon. Porter's Pulitzer Prize-winning photograph of the moment became a symbol of the Oklahoma City bombing, which claimed 168 lives.

Africa and mural project preview

1 my reaction to the powerpoint is that this are great photos never seen this great photos in my life

3 this photo is a favorite because since i was little i was an elephant favorite and every time i see an elephant i say wow i remembered those times i used to draw those animals .
4 i see the balance , simplicity , and framing in the photo simplicity because its a clear background and framing because of the square shape and balance because if u fold it it looks the same

4 1 he used a pentax 6711 with only fixed lenses
b he reason was for every crature human or nonhuman has an equal right to live and his feeling this belief that every animal are equal
c he love for the animals he was interested in showing the animals simply in the state in the wild
d his quote isWhy the animals of Africa in particular? And more particularly still, East Africa? There is perhaps something more profoundly iconic, mythical, mythological even, about the animals of East Africa... There is something deeply deeply, emotionally stirring and affecting about the plains of Africa - the vast green rolling plains punctuated by by the graphically perfect acacia trees."

the mural
the theme that i would use is achieving dreams beyond imagination because this school is filled with a lot of great of achievers that ant to be big in the world

the effort to never give up or don't go down with out a fight its important because it tell everyone that in order to be great u should always try u hardest and never give up

an advantage is that u could have it anywhere they offer high resolution and take excellent scenic photo.
a disadvantage will be there usually fix focused lens and smaller seniors limits their performance in the poor light
5 we should not use a SLR cameras for this project because the poor performance of light we won't be able to do much.

academics shoot reflection

1 i encounter hard condition like for example theres was badly any student in sights and some weren't preforming the rules that i needed

2 it was the framing because i was thinking how can i get a good picture of framing if theres a lot of movement and there weren't many stuff could work with so i had very limited resources

3 i would of captured better photos of framing and merger i would look for interesting stuff around the school to capture the perfect photo that i need

4 my creative thinking i would always think of what should i do to make this photo great and i would like to keep this the same

5 the simplicity photo because all you need is a clear background of something that won't be a distraction to the main thing about the photo

6 the framing one because you have to take the right one and you have to search for it the most and is the most difficult o find

7 the framing rule i had a hard time looking for that i didn't even know what to look for , so i wished i knew how to figure it out sooner so it would not have to struggle with it,

Academics shoot

                                                                 1 lines
i followed the rule pretty good by letting the line be the direction to the football player
2 the subject is the lines that fallow to the football player
3 yes because they will by directed to the football player by the lines
4 i would of try harder to focus on what it is telling me

simplicity

1 i fallowed the rule as it was told it had to had a simple background a back ground the won't be notice as much only the person
2 the subject is the soccer player
3 yes because the soccer player is the only one there
4 i would of shown a more better background bit a dull one like this

rule of thirds

i fallow the rule good because she is not placed in the center of the photo
2 the subject is the teacher as she walks down the hall
3 yes because there no distraction on the photo
4 i would take a different picture that i know it would be a rule of third

balance

1 i fallow the rule pretty good by making sure everything is great and balance for example if u fold it you would know
2 the subject is the teacher in the photo
3 yes because theres no distraction in the photo
4 i would of gotten two people side by side and capture a true balance

framing
1 i fallowed the rule a little but bit difficult but i manage to get a good photo of framing
2 the subject are the two JRTC classmate in the photo
3 yes because theres no distraction
4 i would of gotten an upper few of an interesting thing and capture that image

avoiding merger

1 i fallowed the rule good i captured the merging good as u see the guy on the left side go the photo
2 the subject is the merger of the boy on the left side
3 no its not that clear because people have to look for it
4 i would of get a group of people and take a photo of anything and have a half seen person there

Academics shoot preview

the story

in this picture i can see it tells a story , this photo may tell a story about the homeless or people who service a tragic storm that destroyed their home and they are forced to be in the streets , or forced to stay in shelters .

Action and emotion

in this photo the action is the the chemicals mixing and then exploding i the sight and the emotion is the surprising water or chemicals flying around the two girls as the two girls scream and laugh ad smile as the water rises .

1 the reason i picked this photo because it shows me determination that people are actually dreaming to becoming something important one day that will help the entire world not just the country .

2 you can see some rules of photography for example you can see frame you can also see simplicity witch has no distracting background

1 i would go to chemistry pap or soccer class
2 i would like to visit the gym , soccer or chemistry class in this period
3 look for the right moment to take the picture and use all my knowledge to get the greatest photo .

photo Manipulation and Ethics

people all over the world are getting fired and loosing their creditability because they are manipulating the photo so they can get a better reaction like the brian walski , in Los Angles , lebanese photographer Adnan hajj , Issam Kobeisi .

this type of photograph is unethical because your are lying thought your photos , your changing your view and lying to the people in the world who see it .

this photo is bad to the viewers out in the world because its recriminating because your telling a lie to other and putting a bad impression to the people on that photo . this shows that the man is pointing the gun at the person with the kid and looking at him which is a bad thing to do if your a soldier because your aiming your gun at him. this is bad because your distraction the protection of your country.
in this photo of the married couple it shows two different photo of the woman's teeth witch is really not that bad this photos is unethical because it really isn't that bad because its not criminalizing anybody its just covering those bad teeth . so this photo isn't bad because it doesn't show that anybody is getting hurt or anybody is feting blamed . all its shows is a happy couple .

elements of art and principals of design

Lines are marks made by a pointed tool: brush, pencil, pen, etc. Lines can vary in width, direction, curvature, length, or color.

i chose this photo because the line brought that 3d image to life

i chose this photo because line can very in width length and color as shown

Shape Shapes are formed wherever the ends of a continuous line meet. Geometric shapes such as circles, triangles or squares have perfect, uniform measurements and don't often appear in nature. Organic shapes are associated with things from the natural world, like plants and animals.

i choose this photo because all that it shows is lines connecting to form shape

i chose this photo because the shape gave it meaning to the painting

Color wheels show the primary colors, secondary colors, and the tertiary (intermediate) colors. They also show the relationships between complementary colors across from each other, such as blue and orange; and analogous (similar or related) colors next to each other such as yellow, green, and blue. Black and white may be thought of as colors but, in fact, they are not. White light is the presence of all color; black is the absence of reflected light and therefore the absence of color.

i choose this photo because of it colors it got its exotic look

i choose this photo because color gave it meaning

Value (Tone)
or tone, refers to dark and light; the value scale refers to black and white with all gradations of gray in between. Value contrasts help us to see and understand a two-dimensional work of art.

i choose this photo because the dark grey on the side give it 3d diminution to the flower

the dark tone behind the man understand the work maybe as a shadow or to look like a photo

Form describes objects that are three-dimensional, having length, width, and height.

i choose this painting gives the person a 3 diminutional look when the see the other in front of it i choose this picture because the way its looking up because everything els just pops out and looks so real

Texture can be rough, bumpy, slick, scratchy, smooth, silky, soft, prickly--the list is endless. Texture refers to the surface quality, both simulated and actual, of artwork.

i choose this photo because it gives a lot of texture with all those bumpy and endless squares

i choose this photo this is a quality photo of artwork and its a real and simulated art work

Space refers to distances or areas around, between, or within components of a piece. Space can be positive (white or light) or negative (black or dark), open or closed, shallow or deep, and two-dimensional or three-dimensional.

i choose this photo because it has space , it made this woman pop out as the center attention

i choose this photo because of the space or the black background makes all those bright color shapes pop out and make this photo grate

Balance is the comfortable or pleasing arrangement of things in art. There are three different types of balance: symmetrical, asymmetrical, and radial. The human figure is symmetrically balanced; the same on the left and right side. The tree is asymmetrically balanced; its branches are not distributed equally on each side, but their total weight is balanced left and right. The sun is an example of radial balance; all its rays are equal in length from the center.

i chose this photo because everything is even when it fold everything is identical
i choose this photo because if u fold the butterfly in half it will look the same there creating a balance

Contrast is created by using elements that conflict with one another. Often, contrast is created using complementary colors or extremely light and dark values. Contrast creates interest in a piece and often draws the eye to certain areas. It is used to make a painting look interesting.

in this photo it used shading or dark values to make tho photo dramatic thus making it a great photo

i choose this painting because it dark shading on the side make this painting in a 3D form

Emphasis in the focal area of an artwork gives it importance. An artist may stress some elements of the design over others. The eye of the viewer will focus on the area of emphasis or center of interest first, then take in the rest of the composition.

in this photo the center of attention is the orange fish while surrounded by grey fishes

in this photo the angle is the center of attention but has many other element to take the eyes interest in the center first and then to the rest of the composition

Movement in an artwork means the artist is taking viewers on a trip through the work by means of lines, edges, shapes, and colors often leading to the focal area. Movement is a visual flow through the composition. It can be the suggestion of motion in a design as you move from object to object by way of placement and position. Directional movement can be created with a value pattern. It is with the placement of dark and light areas that you can move your attention through the format.

all this line all form drawing of many creatures ll falling to the the most impotent one of all the mermaid

in this photo all the color on the floor lead the eyes of the views to the center most impotent part witch is the couple

Patternare made in art when the same shapes or elements are repeated again and again. Pattern uses the elements of art in planned or random repetitions to enhance surfaces of paintings or sculptures.]

in the fence with it curve line over another makes a pattern of squares all over the area its covers

all the cans form a pattern when they all line up that creates a pattern to make it unique

Rhythm is the repetition of shapes, lines, and forms. Rhythm is a movement in which some elements recurs regularly. Like a dance, it will have a flow of objects that will seem to be like the beat of music.

i this photo its repeat the shape of the squares and rectangles to create this photo of the stairs going down to the end

the artist create many shapes and continually repeats them to make the painting shine on the couple

Unity means that all elements in an artwork are in harmony. Unity brings together a composition with similar units. For example, if your composition was using wavy lines and organic shapes you would stay with those types of lines and not put in even one geometric shape.

all of this line are in harmony and this organic line can be put to form geometric shape

the organic line in this painting are all out together to form a shape for example this woman as u seen drawn
